We are delighted to be the first publishing house to present this Norwegian author to Serbian readers.
He was born in 1958 in Norway and he studied psychology and economics. His debut novel was published in 1993 and since then his popular series of detective and historical-crime thrillers brought him not only several prestigious awards and international fame, but also the title of godfather of Nordic noir. He is the co-writer of two screenplays.
Nordiq will first publish one of his historical-crime standalones.

We are proud to present another highly esteemed name of Nordic noir.
This Icelandic writer is the author of the best-selling and highly awarded novels that are very popular both in Iceland and throughout Europe. He is the co-founder of the Reykjavik international festival Iceland Noir. From the age of 17, he translated 14 Agatha Christie novels into Icelandic. In addition to writing, he works as an investment banker in Reykjavik and he also teaches law at the Reykjavik University.
His first novel to be published by Nordiq will be the first title of the Dark Iceland series.
